Monday:

• Become familiar with classroom expectations & procedures,
• set goals for this year,
• get to know teacher and peers,
• introduce core value words

Tuesday:

• Become familiar with Student Handbook,
• go through writing process,
• begin "Yourspace" interviews,
• review core value words
• PRE AP: Tic-tac-toe assignment sheet & rubric (DUE SEPT 2nd)

Wednesday:

• Review core value words,
• review author's purpose,
• utilize conventions correctly,
• follow the writing process (drafting)

Thursday:

• introduce SSR connections and expectations,
• continue writing process (revise, edit and prepare final copy)

Friday:

• SSR Connections
• Yourspace Oral Presentations
PRE AP: Tic-tac-toe project (assignments chosen and signed by parent)
• PRE AP: Review for The Westing Game Test sent home (TEST ON MON. AUG 30th)
