Red Ribbon Week
Learning Objectives this week:The students will apply active reading strategies as they read and respond to comprehension questions. They will also apply strategies for defining the meaning of words through the use of context clues and dictionaries. They will be engaged in writing activities to show their understanding and comprehension of the texts that they are reading. They will use figurative language to write a poem. The students will apply their knowledge and understanding of grammar and the parts of speech to write a spooky ghost story using mad libs.
