• Grammar - Review prepositions, verbs, subjects & direct objects. Introduce indirect objects.
• Analyze persuasive texts and write editorials based on school issues.
• Persuasion in Advertising: Promises, Dares & Flattery.  Introduce Faulty reasoning
• HW: "Persuasion is all around you" - find a persuasive piece (commercial, advertisement, letter to the editor, etc.) and analyze.

Tuesday, Janurary 25th

• Share advertisements brought from home (last night's homework)

• On Level - need at least 2 sources
• Pre AP - need at least 3 sources

• Agree or disagree - state support for your claim
